Why connection matters:
An estimated 53,974 women and 19,400 children are experiencing homelessness. Domestic and family violence is the leading cause.
Women over 55 are the fastest growing group facing homelessness.
1 in 4 women experience domestic violence by an intimate partner.
On average, 1 woman is killed by a partner every 9 days.

Every day, women connect with 4 Voices for different reasons.
Some are feeling lonely or isolated. Some are navigating financial, housing, relationship or other challenges. Some need practical help or support finding the right service. Others simply want a conversation, a familiar face or somewhere they feel welcome.
There is no single reason to connect - and no need to wait until life reaches crisis.
Through our Community Connection and Individual Connection Programs, our volunteers create thousands of opportunities each year for women to connect, participate, build trust and access support when they choose to.
