Get help

You are not alone. If you are facing a challenging situation, 4 Voices is here to help.

We are here for you. If you're experiencing domestic violence, homelessness or are simply seeking connection, our volunteers can provide support and guidance in the community face-to-face or over the phone.

Face-to-face support

We provide our face-to-face services from our solar-powered vans “Connection hubs” outfitted with technology, mobile phones, laptop computers, printers/scanners/copier, and smart TV) and they have their own WiFi, music and coffee/tea-making facilities.

We have many locations across Brisbane, Logan, Gold Coast and Sydney where we bring our services to the streets, ready to connect.

A simple chat over a cuppa can be of enormous comfort - often that might be enough. If not, we can help you in other ways, depending on what is going on for you. You may need help finding or using technology, sourcing accommodation, looking for work, completing forms, writing letters, and setting up email accounts. No task is too small or too large for us to at least give you some direction. To ensure the fewest possible barriers, we have a team of multilingual volunteers and memberships to essential translation services.

Come visit us even if it’s just to have a chat and connect. We would love to help.

Click on your area to see times and places.

If they don't suit you, you can use our phone support services to get help or just have a chat.

Phone support

Lots of people are impacted by social and digital isolation, more people unemployed, more domestic and family violence, and more people are homeless. Our volunteers are determined to do something to help. If the locations where we offer face-to-face support don’t suit you (see above), we are happy to talk to you by phone.

We have volunteers based all around Australia who are willing to talk, to listen to what’s going on for you, and to try to give you some support and guidance. If you think you would enjoy having someone call you, just complete the form below.

If you wish to contact us in your own time, please call us on +61 427 244 685

Please Note:

4 Voices Phone Support Service is a check-in service for a regular call with our phone support volunteers. Our Phone Support volunteers are not counsellors.

If you need urgent help please call 000 or 13 11 14 (Lifeline).

We are different

We know that asking for help is one of the most daunting things you can do. Are you going to be listened to? Judged? Criticised? Believed?

We get it. Telling your story is tough and it can retraumatise.

When you take the first step with 4 Voices, you will find us to be caring, and non-judgmental. No appointments, no rush, no interrogation.

All of the people you will talk to are volunteers, who are there for the right reasons, who know how difficult it is to ask for help.

We pride ourselves on being different.
